FieldMind is a small business, not a faceless corporation. We’re a team of real people who care deeply about the trades and the businesses behind them.
Before we built FieldMind, Ryan and Jessica built another company together.
For years, we designed and deployed connected equipment that lives on rooftops, in factories, in warehouses, and out in the field.
We’ve navigated supply chain chaos, customer pressure, payroll stress, and the kind of hard seasons that would have shut most companies down. And we kept going. Because when people depend on you, quitting isn’t really an option.
“The technology is great. Servicing it is impossible.”
So we started asking “Why?”
Every owner told us the same story. There is ONE technician everyone calls. The one that knows all the answers and that you want on every job. But everyone else is asking for him too.
Owners also told us that the equipment they were servicing was getting more complicated every year. More circuit boards, sensors, and new systems to learn.
Then we learned something that stopped us in our tracks: the average age of field technicians in America is nearing retirement age. Decades of hard-earned knowledge is slowly walking out the door.
We met incredible technicians across the country. People who care deeply about their craft. People who want to do the job right. The problem wasn’t the effort of the technicians. It was access to knowledge.
So we asked a simple question:
What if the best technician on your team could help every technician on your team any time they needed help?
That question became FieldMind.
We’re builders. We’re small business owners. And we’re parents.
We know what it feels like to carry payroll. To worry about customers. To depend on your team showing up every day. We know what it feels like to have hard months. To make uncomfortable decisions. To stay up late figuring it out.
And we know what it feels like to want to build something that lasts. Something our kids could look at one day and say, “That mattered.”
FieldMind isn’t built in a lab. It’s built in partnership with the people who keep America running. When you work with us, you’re supporting a small business whose whole mission is to support yours.
FieldMind exists to help the next generation of technicians learn faster, work smarter, and carry the craft forward.
And we’re just getting started.
If you’re in the field, running a service business, or helping train the next generation — we’d be honored to build this with you.
